Hospitalisation : There currently are a total of 1,42,512 active covid cases, of which only 3.4%, owing to need for added care, are being treated at hospitals.
Testing : 80,740 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Deaths : There were 39 covid deaths confirmed during the day taking the death toll so far to 51,026.

Contact cases: There were 27,522 contact cases today of which source of infection to 579 were unknown.

Quarantine: A total of 2,69,422 people are under observation currently of whom, 5419 remain quarantined various hospitals and the remaining 2,64,003 are being monitored in their homes/institutions. 944 people were newly admitted into hospitals during the day.
