THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : People arriving from hard-hit regions will be accepted with precautionary measures against Covid-19. There is no question of rejecting anyone, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan clarified. Arrivals from risky regions call for meticulous testing and quarantine arrangements, a reason why the government insists on online registration for returning here, CM said.
Online registration is essential to protect both the incoming people and those residing here. There is definitely no kind of distinction for coming into the state. Registration has been made mandatory because there exists no other means to curb safety risks. If registration for inward travel is bypassed, the situation could get out of hand and likely lead to community spread, CM said with a pinch of warning.
