Missing Child Complaint : CPI(M) Will Not Back Wrongdoing; Stands By Mother In The Case: A.. Vijayaraghavan

Thiruvananthapuram : CPI(M) will not back any kind of wrongdoing. The mother should be let to have custody of  her baby, said CPI(M) acting Secretary A. Vijayaraghavan, responding in connection with  Anupama's missing child complaint.

Such complaints, when received,  are looked into by the District Committee and they conducted the probe based on information on hand. It is a case, the solving of which requires recourse to law. The mother will be helped with legal assistance. The party stands by the mother in the case, said Vijayaraghavan.

The case revolves around the complaint lodged by Anupama, daughter of  a Left leader, alleging  her child born out of the wedlock, was being kept away by her parents and siblings who took the infant away soon after birth.
