Meanwhile, the Speaker, Vijay Kumar Sinha, is unrelenting, and remains put at the Chair, meaning the new govt will need to bring in no-trust motion for ouster. The Floor Test session of the Assembly became stretched to the 24th after the opposition comprising 77 BJP members and one member of  AIMIM  disagreed from having the Speaker to step down.

To bring out a no-trust motion against Speaker, a motion signed by nine legislators must be presented to the Assembly secretary and two-week time allowed to lapse thereafter, for the House to consider it.
